Features
Comprehensive Toolset
Incident manager offers a comprehensive set of tools to make your incident management teams more effective.
Manage Tasks
Tasks are how teams get things done during an incident. To be effective, the team must be able to manage tasks effectively. Incident Manager makes tasks a central part of effective incident management. We go further by focusing on task performance (learn more below).
Maintain a Log
Logs provide an essential record of events during an incident. Incident Manager provides a unified log, allowing any member of the team to review log entries and add new entries.
Manage Communications
Effective communications are essential during a major incident. The communications feature in Incident Manager enables teams to manage the workflow of communications, ensuring full visibility for the team.
Manage Support Cases
Employees impacted by an incident often require additional support. Support cases provide an effective way to manage individual employees, ensuring you can provide effective assistance.
Manage Resources
Organisations and teams can add resources of different categories. During an incident, team members can view resources related to that incident type and location.
Manage Playbooks
Playbooks provide teams a reference for responding to different incident types. Organisations can create playbooks, which are then available to all of their teams. Teams can also create their own playbooks.
Focus on Team Performance
Major incidents can be complex to manage. Incident Manager is uniquely focused on enhancing team performance during a major incident
Centralised or Decentralised
Incident Manager can be used by teams operating remotely or when team members are in the same room. The application can be used on laptops or mobile phones. The only thing you need is access to the internet.
Activity Stream
See everything at a glance. Keep track of complex situations. Ensure unified awareness. The activity stream provides a one-stop reference for team members to view all of their actions during the incident.
Incident Review
Need to catch up on what's going on? The incident review provides a snapshot of the current state of the incident. The incident review can be used during update meetings or when briefing executives.
Task Visibility
We take a unique approach to task visibility, enabling the team to focus on the most important tasks.
Task Load
Task load helps to identify when individual team members may be overwhelmed with tasks. During an incident, the team can monitor the current and cumulative task load for each team member.
Observers and Advisors
A team can add observers and advisors at any time during an incident, enabling those individuals to observe team activities and provide valuable input.
Wash Ups
At the end of every incident, including exercises, team members are prompted to take a washup questionnaire. The results of each washup are stored, enabling the monitoring of team performance over time.
Community Features
By leveraging the power of community, Incident Manager is able to provide a unique level of utility for your teams.
Shared resources
Shared resources are available to anyone using the application. Any user can create a shared resource.
The key benefit of shared resources is that they provide our community of users with access to a wide range of resource options. Far more than if each organisation had to add resources themselves.
Of course, your organisation can create your own private resources at the organisational or team levels. These resources are not accessible to the community and can only be used by people in your organisation.
Shared playbooks
Playbooks guide teams in their response to specific incidents.
Shared playbooks are available to anyone using the application. This means that when you first start using Incident Manager, there are already playbooks in place for different types of incidents.
Your organisation can still create your own private playbooks at the organisational or team levels. These playbooks are not accessible to the community and can only be used by people in your organisation.
